1. Publication of activities in the above defined fields
2. Implementation of workshops and seminars
3. Collection and analyzing the information on the urban environment worldwide and publishing it as “Integrated Urban Database in Asia”
4. Promotion of information sharing on urban environment in Asia among the Asian researchers and professionals involved in urban environmental issues and policy, through internet
5. Collaboration with related academic institutions in Japan and abroad
6. Promotion of research related to urban environment
