1. Background and Purpose
The Asia Institute of Urban Environment (AIUE) has established the Best Presentation Award to recognize participants who demonstrate outstanding research quality and presentation performance at AIUE international conferences. This award aims to encourage academic communication, improve presentation quality, and promote active participation, particularly among young researchers and students, thereby fostering the next generation of leaders in urban environmental research.
2. Objectives of the Best Presentation Award
- To recognize outstanding presentations demonstrating excellence in research content and communication skills;
- To encourage active participation and academic growth among young researchers and students;
- To promote the dissemination and exchange of innovative ideas and research findings;

3. Recommendation and Review Process
Recommendation Source: In principle, nominations shall be made by session chairs based on presentation performance during the conference.
Submission Materials: Presentation materials, abstract, author information, and evaluation comments from session chairs may be submitted where necessary.
Preliminary Review: The AIUE Secretariat will confirm eligibility and completeness of nomination materials.
Expert Review: The Review Committee will evaluate candidates according to established criteria and recommendations from session chairs.
Final Approval: The final award decision shall be approved by the AIUE Review Committee.
Award Ceremony: Recipients will be recognized during the closing ceremony or award session of the AIUE conference.

Originality and Significance of Research Content:
Does the presentation demonstrate originality and contribute significantly to the field of urban environment?
Clarity and Organization of Presentation:
Is the presentation well-structured, easy to understand, and appropriately managed within the allocated time?
Presentation Skills and Response to Questions:
Does the presenter communicate effectively and provide appropriate responses during discussions and Q&A sessions?

Particular consideration may be given to the future potential, originality, and academic development of young researchers and student presenters.
Audience and Session Evaluation:
Does the presentation leave a positive overall impression on session chairs and participants?

- A certificate of commendation will be issued;
