The Asia Institute of Urban Environment (AIUE) is committed to promoting the sustainable development and improvement of urban environments in the Asian region. Numerous researchers and practitioners have contributed significantly to this goal through pioneering efforts. In recognition of these contributions and to further encourage innovative initiatives in Asia, the “Innovative Design Award” has been established.

2. Purpose of the “Innovative Design Award”

To recognize and promote outstanding initiatives aimed at improving urban environments in Asia.
To enhance the motivation of award recipients and encourage further research and practical activities.
To share successful case studies of award recipients and facilitate their application in other regions or projects.
